Moving Mountains

I’ve wanted to be famous since I was very small

I’m often asking Jesus what’s my grander call

He’s given me no vision for future fame and fortune

Instead I find before me a single hurting person

I don’t see mountains moving when all I do is listen

I don’t see walls come down just a single person broken

Jesus I’m not qualified I’m hardly healed myself

There is nothing I can do without your higher

help

Then I hear a quiet voice cutting through my many thoughts

You haven’t been called to change them, just go love with all you’ve got

It may not seem like dirt has moved, or a single inch been gained

For sometimes it is slow and hidden when a life is bein’ redeemed

See the secret to moving mountains is that it’s done one stone at a time

If you doubt what you can do, start with patience, just be kind

Most of us will never move the crowd

Most of us will not see fame

But once you believe in His great love

All it takes is Jesus’ name
